Year 3 Robinson
Welcome to our web page from Miss Robinson, Miss McLaughlin and Miss Loftus!
In Class 3R, we aim to make learning interesting and fun through imaginative topics which link together many curriculum areas. These include Invaders and Settlers, Giants and Healthy Eating. We take part in three Sacraments in Year Three, these are: Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Holy Communion.
Our lessons in Class 3R are lively and interactive. We regularly use the iPads to research our topics and present our work, and we love going on a range of trips, from visiting a Roman city to making our own healthy pizzas at Pizza Express. We always work hard and try our best in Class 3R and we are proud of our work.

Spring Term 1
In Art and Design we have entered the BBC's 'Little Art' competition. We have either used the Iron Man, Volcanoes or James and the Giant Peach as a source of inspiration. Even the teachers had a go! Look out for Miss McLaughlin's and Mr Deane's entries.
As part of our Healthy Eating topic in Science and Design and Technology, we were very lucky to go on a trip to Pizza Express. Take a look at the delicious healthy pizzas that we have made.
BREAKING NEWS. In November every class sent friendship messages via balloons into the sky. On Tuesday 6th January our class received a letter from a little boy fifty six miles away! Our hand of friendship has reached out and been answered. Take a look at our photographs of sending the message off and the reply we received.
These are the objectives of our subjects for this term.
Our next Sacrament is Confirmation. We all receive the fruits from the Holy Spirit. We will be learning what these gifts from God are. We will also be taking a Saint's name when we get confirmed.
Year Three R and Year Three PL visited Father David at Church. We learned more about why Catholics go on a Pilgrimage and about the Sacrament of Baptism.
