Art Week - October 2019
During the last week of half term, Years 1 - 6 all took part in
'Art Week'.
Each year group had a skill/s and an artist to focus on. The children were working on improving and refining their skills and applying them to different contexts.
All of the year groups began with an artist study and used reading and inference skills to help them obtain a deeper understanding of the piece of art they were going to recreate. We then used our sketch books to practice and learn new skills before applying them to our final piece.
