Upcoming Dates for you Diary (Summer Term 2 2025)
Thursday 12th June 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
As we near the end of another busy and successful year at school I thought it might be useful to give you a few dates for your diary so you don’t miss any enjoyable end of year activities. Sports Day on playing field –
- On Wednesday 18th June there will be a special day of events to celebrate and showcase the diverse cultural heritage of our pupils and families. We have celebrated “Cultural Heritage Day” before in school and it is a great opportunity for children to experience the food, dress, dance and language from many different cultural traditions. An email was sent out earlier on in the week in regards to this.
- Sports Day on the astro-turf on the main school playground on Tuesday 24th June This new location worked really well last year – starting at 9.00am till 10.15am for Nursery and Reception classes only. Then at 10.45am Year 1 and Year 2 classes will have their sports day.
In the afternoon it will be the turn Year 3 and Year 4 starting at 1pm till 2pm. Finally, the Year 5 and Year 6 Sports Day will be 2pm till 3pm. Parents are welcome to these sessions.
- Sports Day - Acorn class – this will be fully integrated with the rest of the school on Tuesday 24th June – times as above depending on the age of the children – parents welcome
- Wednesday 16th July at 2pm in Parish Hall – Year 6 leavers production – parents of Y6 pupils welcome
- Monday 21st July - Our FOOTBALL SPECIAL DAY – all children are invited to attend wearing their favourite football kit. There will be football themed activities for different classes throughout the day.
- Monday 21st July – Year 6 leavers mass @ 9.15am
- Monday 21st July – Last day for pupils – the GIANT ATTENDANCE RAFFLE – 2 bikes must be won – you have to be present to win it!
We hope to see many of you at some or all of these end of year activities.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Deane OBE
