At the beginning of April - we celebrated Autism Week.
We were treated to several exciting ideas across the week, designed to support awareness;
- A celebratory assembly was co-designed with several upper KS2 children –to introduce the week
- We had a ONESIE DAY in school.
- We had a raffle to win one of Mrs Raftery’s delicious cakes.
- We also began a t-shirt decorating opportunity at lunch. With the aim to celebrate each child’s uniqueness; we went wild with the fabric paints to show support our kaleidoscope of personalities! This has been ever so successful - we've continued the sessions!
All monies raised will support the improvement of our school sensory area and play area. There's still time to get involved!
